Rene is an international academic professional holding a PhD in business management. His research specializes in cross-cultural personality differences in the workplace and has published in world renowned journals. He has taught post-secondary business students at several Universities, including Korea, China, and Canada. Rene completed his MBA in international corporate management from Purdue University and has experience working in Canada's financial industry. He believes that people relationships and fostering a healthy organizational culture are the key ingredients to building committed and highly engaged employees.
Stephanie is a marine ecologist at the University of California Santa Cruz and the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Her research examines species biogeography, fisheries, and animal ecophysiology. She has expertise in quantitative analyses and using diverse data sets to examine pelagic predator ecology and the roles that oceanographic processes play in species distributions. Stephanie is interested in applied research and understanding how climate change and variability is affecting living marine resources and dependent marine communities.
Sebastian is a project management professional with a PhD in Geosciences. His research on fluid migration in a subduction complex SE offshore Japan was published in various international peer-reviewed journals. His strong academic record is complemented with 7 years’ experience in the oil & gas and minerals industry where he worked in multiple roles such as technical specialist, lobbyist, project manager, and head of department. At the moment, Sebastian is working as project management professional for one of the „Big Four“ consulting firms where he is involved in projects from a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, automotive, and biotechnology. He firmly believes that the key to any successful project is communication, internally and externally, at the right time, and in the right way.
